A small split level bar with Sky TV and enclosed beer garden to the rear.
It traded for many years as the Masons' Arms, then in later years as the Orchard.
It was renamed the Jester mid-2011, then became Cheerz(sic) bar late-2013/early-2014.
It was closed and boarded up late in January 2015. The entire site has since been sold for redevelopment to residential use, which was completed in 2018.

In 1888 listed in Orchard st
Mary Ann Wiltshire, a married woman, was found guilty of being riotous and disorderly and refusing to quit when asked to do so by the landlord, James Barber, Masons’ Arms, Ipswich, she was fined 2s 6d. Wiltshire had also smashed some windows in the bar and fined a further 7s 6d for the damage and 8s costs. The charge of being riotous was withdrawn on condition she would make a further payment of 5s costs. Ipswich Journal, Jan 1870**
The Masons were broken into and a dead chicken stolen by a George Abbott alias John Nicholls…
