Street corner Grade II listed local on the High Street reopened under a previous name on 16/12/2023.
License withdrawn in January 2025 after police found the premises to be involved in the supply of drugs, noise and non-compliance with license conditions.

A window depicting the rising sun faces eastwards towards the sea. Mainly a young person's pub. No food Sun eve.

This was probably called the Fisheries Hotel until at least 1892.
In 1912 & 1922 it was listed as the Spread Eagle hotel. The 1910 Lowestoft rate book lists it as the Spread Eagle, owned by Youngman & Preston.
