The brewery produced various draught beers both in cask and in some wooden containers. Briefly it also produced some bottled beers including nips of Black Shuck (6%). A small area of the building was used as a brewery tap.

Business closed in 1992.

The building was subsequently extensively refurbished into a radically new and larger bar and enlarged brewery area when it became the location for Green Jack to start brewing in 1993.

The building was much changed again (circa 2002) and the bar was then used as a lively music venue with brewing after that date by Oulton Ales brewery. Both the venue and the brewery closed at end of 2008.
