Weston
Introduction
Now a dry parish. This small scattered settlement has a thatched church. The village was recorded in Domesday as "Westuna".
The various items on the village sign represent the different road names in the village; the church for Church Lane, a cucumber vine for Cucumber Lane, Cromwell's helmet for Cromwell Road, etc.
History
In the 1844 White's Suffolk Trades Directory, Frederick Wm. Farr was listed as the brewer at Walpole Hall (an ancient manor house) and Beccles.
