Parts of the White Hart date back to the 15th century, with 16th and 19th century alterations.
The precise closure date is unknown, but was evidently well before 1979, as a planning application for "CHANGE OF USE PART OF RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY TO GUEST HOUSE" was lodged in November that year.
