The pub is now residential, but still known as the Buck's Head.
According to A Survey of Suffolk Parish History, the Buck's Head was reported at least as far back as 1794. The same source tells us it closed in the 1950s.

James RICHES, landlord of the Buck's Head, Campsey Ash, pleaded guilty to keeping his house open and selling beer at unlawful hours, on Sunday 8th inst. The defendant had previous convictions for the same offence. He was fined £3 and costs.Ipswich Journal, July 21st 1860***
