You are assured of a warm welcome at this traditional, no nonsense village pub where conversation and good beer are the order of the day. Bare floorboards, quarry tiles and stripped pine panelling add to the atmosphere. The pub is 15th Century timber framed with many subsequent extensions. Walkers, cyclists and motorbikes, "get together"or "stopoff spot". Informal camaping and caravan pitches.
