It isn't known when the Buck was a pub; it isn't marked on any available OS maps (as early as 1886) so must have closed a long time ago.

This building is identified in the Listed Buildings Register as having been the Buck; it dates from early in the 17th century.

Note that although we have assigned this pub to Brome as that's where it's been described, it appears from old boundary maps that it's probably actually just in Oakley.
