The Temperance Hotel was In Bridge Street and is the last house before you get to Wickham Market Mill and was at one time run by two ladies (Riches). It is detached and built of flint, and used to be the residence of Mrs Runnacles who had a bakery next door (now demolished) and a residential house is now built on this site.
