Felixstowe Manor Hotel
Felixstowe Manor Hotel
closed 1882
Manor Terrace
grid reference TM 291 327
The 1881 census suggests that location is near Manor Terrace, something confirmed by a development plan from 1879 mentioning "land near the Manor Terrace and Manor Hotel".
This building is shown on the 1881 OS map as the Manor Hotel.
It was boarded up and virtually empty for many years; permission to demolish the building was given in the summer of 2013.
This old OS map from about the end of the 19th century (interactive map) shows it as the Manor House.
