Historical interest
The pub is named in the 1871 census, which has been transcribed as Tigar, but this is not clear. It's location is two premises from the Cross.
Only one pub is listed at Allwood Green from 1900 and it is likely that this pub had closed by then.
Entries for 1861 and 1888 have not been confirmed, but are included by considering entries for the nearby Cross.
