The long closed Royal Oak just off Old Market and the bus station has re-opened as an Oak Fired Pizza restaurant following a refurbishment of the bar, cellar and the installation of a pizza oven. It serves proper Neapolitan pizza (as opposed to the more common version which comes via Sicily and the US) and has been recognised in Naples as serving amongst the best Neapolitan pizze in Europe.
