The John Bull was a two bar Greene King pub with a comfortable lounge and a strong sports theme elsewhere. There was Sky TV sports and a pool area.
In July 2013 a planning application was submitted for conversion to three takeaways. Subsequently it was converted partly into a chip shop, with the rest of the building taken up by a Turkish restaurant.
