Although the government has now allowed pubs to reopen, many are still unable to do so safely, while most if not all are only able to accommodate limited numbers of customers. Many of them are still reliant on providing takeaway food and/or drinks. Some offer deliveries, while others are selling from the premises. This page lists details of those we know about.

This was a popular, lively estate-based sports pub, built when adjacent estate was built.

Closed mid-January 2012 and was demolished in April to allow the site to be redeveloped.

Thomas Eldred was an Ipswich merchant and mariner who sailed with Thomas Cavendish (also of Suffolk) on the second English circumnavigation of the globe in the ship Desire between 1586-88.
