A 12 bedroom hotel which was located close to Oulton Broad North station. It was named after a renowned Victorian writer and traveller (see also Project Gutenberg). It had live music Friday and karaoke Sunday in the function room.
It was found closed and undergoing redevelopment when visited in 2008; it has since been converted to retail use.
