This was more of a nightclub than a pub.

It was previously the Ponderosa restaurant in 1970s-80s and Dimpy's cafe in the 1960s.

It was renamed Jokers in 1993.

Planning permission for conversion to residential use was granted in April 2015; demolition commenced mid-2016.
