Historical interest
John Seaman, of Westhorpe, was charged with having his alehouse open for the sale of beer during prohibited hours, and convicted in the penalty of £1 3s 6d and costs at the 28th February 1860 Hartismere Petty Sessions.Ipswich Journal, February 1860**
