It's shown on this old OS map from about the end of the 19th century as "Walnut Tree Inn Farm". interactive map
The Walnut Tree disappears from the licensing records in 1878 so seems likely to have closed at about that time. However, it was still known as the Walnut Tree for many years after the pub closed; the 1909 Rates book records a shop and buildings "at the Walnut Tree".
