In the light of the government announcement of March 20th, all pubs are now closed until further notice.

Some of them may well still be offering a takeaway beer service and some others will also be selling food takeaways, perhaps even with delivery. If you can give any of our pubs some support through these terrible times by buying some takeaway food or drink, please do so. A large 1930s estate pub which had a comfortable lounge and popular, lively bar - especially at weekends.

Its license was transferred from the Horse & Groom in St Andrews Street South, which closed at the time the Priors opened.

Closed January 2014. The site was purchased by developers who replaced it with a number of homes. It was demolished at the end of May 2015.
