Historical interest
A substantial dinner, provided by public subscription was given to the railway drivers and firemen employed at the Lowestoft Railway Station, at the Three Herrings Hotel, the viands supplied by Mr and Mrs Balls being of first rate. Ipswich Journal, Feb 1885**
