The pub has a large collection of pictures of RAF Chedburgh.
The pub was reported by West Suffolk CAMRA in December 2016 to be closed with a change of use request lodged. A public meeting was held on Monday January 18th and was attended by around 70 people. it seems the village wants its pub back.
A local campaign has been set up to try to buy the pub for the community.

Much improved welcoming pub, displaying photos of WWII airfield and an account of the life of the Marquis. The garden with its fenced pond, ducks and rabbits is a winner with the children. Agility club for dogs and gun dog training available.
