Leiston White Lion
Leiston White Lion
North West, 52.2082,1.57849
Closed: unknown era
40? Valley Rd
grid reference TM 445 626
No mention of the White Lion has been found in the Blything licensing records (we've been through all available books from 1874 to 1967) and it doesn't appear on any available OS maps. It may be that this pub is erroneous or closed in the 1870s. Or could it have been an older name for the White Horse? It isn't clear how the location shown here was ascertained.
