Bury St Edmunds Possible old pub
Bury St Edmunds Possible old pub
North West, 52.24564,0.71679
Speculative: was this a pub? It looks as if it may have been.
24B Angel Hill
grid reference TL 855 643
This building, immediately west of the One Bull, appears to have once been a pub; it even has the old hanger for its sign still attached.
Perhaps it might once have been part of the adjacent One Bull? If it was, this must have been a long time ago as OS maps from about the end of the 19th century show it as a separate building.
If you can identify it, please let us know the details.
The building dates from the 16th century, with an 18th century exterior.
