The presence of a cellar trap to the left of the door of this building suggests it may once have been a pub. If you can confirm or refute this, or can provide any more information, please let us know.
It's shown as "Abbey House" on available maps (back as far as 1883). So if it was a pub, it must have been before that year. The façade of the building dates from about 1820, though parts of the building are from the late 16th century.
