This pub is shown but not named on this 1884 OS map. It isn't shown on the sheet published in 1904, so apparently had closed by that year.
It has been suggested that it might actually be the Golden Ball (in which case the street must have been renumbered). Though the building we have marked as the Golden Ball bears clear indications of having had a substantial sign-hanger.
