A cosy and friendly drinking haunt near the village hall and local shops.
Owned and operated by Calvors brewery since 2018. The interior was fully refurbished a few years ago in a traditional style.
The food menu now includes a Sunday roast and various vegetarian options. A pub cat often is to be found in a chair near the bar. The pub has had its own steel quoit beds since 1879. Look out for the Lord Crud cup in the trophy cabinet.
There's occasional live music and a coffee morning from 10.30am on Tuesdays.
