Closed: before 1874, probably earlier

This is listed in a document at the Suffolk Record Office as having been open about 1750.
Our photograph and map location shows what would have been the Marlborough Head assuming the numbering scheme is still the same. It would seem that this building was converted into Lloyd's Bank early in the 20th century, which means the pub must have closed before that. According to a local resident, the façade is relatively recent.
If you can confirm or refute this being the Marlborough Head, please let us know.
