A quiet, modern estate pub with two bars, which for a few years incorporated a Gurkha restaurant.
In 2022 it was renamed and converted into an Indian restaurant, though it seems to have retained a bar area.

Historical interest
The pub opened in 1956 with a license transferred from the Market Tavern.
It re-opened in December 2009 after a period of closure.
Now under new tenancy (from May 2016) and offering Real Ale from two hand pumps once again.
