Indications are that it's unlikely to reopen, as planning permission for change of use has been submitted.
A large fire broke out at this pub on March 26th 2020.
It appears that apart from the shell of the building, everything has been pretty much destroyed.

The building on this map appears different to today's, so evidently it was rebuilt at some time.
