UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT AS OF AUGUST 2024. Family-friendly free house, which normally has two cask ales available. There is a separate restaurant area for diners, although several customers like to eat in the conservatory. There is a large patio/beer garden and a grassed play area for children. A village shop is also now on site selling plants, fruit & veg and an outside catering stall selling doughnuts and ice cream in summer months.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the conservatory and bars.
According to the village website:
The original White Horse was situated in the old main street, north of Baker's Score. Between the years of 1844 and 1862 the old building was abandoned and the new inn built at its present site.
