The 1909 Rates book mentions the Name Crossways in the same entry as the Thatched House. Although hard to read, it seems to say "Crossways in Thatched House".
It has been demolished.

Reported in the Ipswich Journal in May 1855 that at the Bungay Petty Sessions James Myall, landlord of the Thatched House Inn, Bungay, was convicted on his own confession, of having his house open between 2 30pm and 6pm on Sunday 6th May. He was fined £1 with 7s 6d costs, which he immediately paid…
