The Buck is an old half-timbered pub that reopened in Nov 2021. The bar serves up to five beers supplied by nearby Stow Fen Brewery + others. There is a main bar area with fireplace, a separate dining room and a large snug with comfortable seating and a huge fireplace. A child and dog friendly courtyard garden has been created adjacent to a function room. Next door to the pub is the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum, which is located on land supplied by a former owner of the pub.
The car park also provides access to the Norfolk & Suffolk aviation museum with about 40 aircraft and various associated artefacts including details on USAAF & RAF Bomber Command groups and a ROC display from the former 6th (Norwich) group.

Old half-timbered pub. Full of interesting curios, including glass fronted beer engines. The menu includes a selection of vegetarian dishes and bread from a bakery on the premises. The Norfolk & Suffolk Aviation Museum, with 23 historic aircraft, is situated to the rear.

On 5 nov 1715 John Watts and John Tasburgh signed a bond so that Watts agreed not to license his house as it might be prejudicial to the viability of Tasburgh's established business. We are not sure if Tasburgh was a landlord of the Buck, but it is still the only known pub in the village - please let us know more if you can - Suffolk Archives ref; 741/HA12/B2/23/19…
