In the light of the government announcement of March 20th, all pubs are now closed until further notice.

However, a number of pubs are providing takeaway food and/or drinks during the lockdown. Some offer deliveries, while others are selling from the premises. This page lists details of those we know about.

If you can give any of our pubs some support through these terrible times by buying some takeaway food or drink, please do so. Our pubs need as much support of possible if they're going to still be there for us when the crisis is over.

Bury St Edmunds Beehive?

Bury St Edmunds Beehive?

Thought to have been a pub but there is a degree of doubt.

50 College St

grid reference TL 854 639

The building here is mainly from the early 19th century, with parts dating back to the 16th.

There have been references to two Beehives in this street, this one and one at no. 21, though there is a suggestion that this one may not have been a pub. However, there is a sign over the door saying "The Old Beehive".
